SWAOH decided to release a timely cover of “I Hear Them All” by David Rawlings and Ketch Secor (Old Crow Medicine Show) in an urge to help get out the vote. WFUV’s John Platt premiered this accompanying video on his New Folk Initiative site. It’s a song about listening collectively to the sounds that humanity is making. It has allusions to numerous tragedies through time, touching on war and genocide affecting various peoples throughout history – and says that we hear all of their voices, and that we stand with them to see a future where this happens no more.
