I will teach you concerning the power of God; what is with the Almighty I will not hide

It was an agonizing moment.

The enemy was in hot pursuit

and bid fair to overtake them.

Elisha and his servant

were in bad straits.

The servant,

a young man,

was paralyzed with fear.

Elisha began to pray

in his behalf

and the boy was forthwith reassured

by a vision of horsemen and chariots

materializing

the strength of God,

now placed at their disposal.

Religious

have a role to play

that is similar to Elisha's.

By their life

and prayer

they must open the eyes of people

to spiritual reality.
